On 4/29/12 I experienced an atrial fibrillation where my heart rate was over 200 beats per minute. My neighbor insisted that I go to the hospital. I went to the ER and also had an irregular heart beat for 6 and a half hours. After a stay over night, meds most likely for the rest of my life and many tests, I was told that my heart was perfect and that this was brought on by stress and weight. This has been a wake up call for me. I will not let this happen again. The only way to accomplish this is to lose weight. So my new motto is "200 beats per minute".
This will not be a small task. I am 85 pounds overweight and considered morbidly obese. I will not let this stop me. I have shouldered a lot in my life, this experience is just another phase that I will master.
